Well here I am, back in my home town. There weather is as warm and dry as I remember it, and I have to say, I am not missing the rainy climate of Prince Rupert.
I had an interesting trip down. On the way down I camped the first night. I pulled in fairly early, so I was relaxing on the grassy section of my campsite, enjoying the sound of the wind in the trees. Casey, my puppy, was busy hiding her kibble. Suddenly she started to growl. I looked up and there was a black bear, not 10 feet from me. I had to admit, it was slightly shocking. The bear did not seem to like the noise Casey was making and ambled off in another direction, much to my relief.
My days are slowly getting filled up with activities and plans. I have to admit I am just enjoying the sunshine. I haven't been asked to fix any toliets or anything, so I am pretty safe there.
Managed to take in a bit of the car show. The main street was closed down and people wandered up and down the street. The cars were interesting and diverse.

Good thing you had Casey to protect you! The girls are fine and miss you. Not enough attention when you're not home. Enjoy your restful holiday.
Hope you are having a good time of it down here:) Life has been beyond hectic. Are you still planning on going to the island and see the boys? Let me know if you are.
Got your message but it was 5 days after you left. I hope you are enjoying the sun and sand.
The last time Emma saw a bear she just turned and ran until she could hide behind me, good thing Casey is braver than her.
